DuoTone
Has anyone got any ideas on how to get a great sepia type duotone in Photoshop. I have used the Photo filter/sepia option but some of the results can be disappointing.
I have also tried changing my black and white conversions, various techniques, into greyscale and then duotone. I then struggle to find a good combination of the many colour options and blends to get a high impact sepia old fashioned image. If anyone can give me a good combination I will appreciate it and save it as a custom option in my Photoshop. Thanks, Terry |
Must admit I just use the duotone and tweak the curves for both tones or I use a gradient map and select a sepia to white colour gradient

Duotone
Hi Chris,
Thanks but what colours from the many swatches do you use. I have tried red/yellow, orange/brown etc. etc. all sorts of combinations but haven't got one that suits me yet. I may be being a bit picky? Terry |
You might find the tutorial here to be of some use plus there are 8 complementary custom duotone/tritone presets to be had: http://www.photoshopsupport.com/tools/actions-tutorials/duotone-tritone-quadtone-actions-tutorial.html
