Colour failure on Canon 9000 printer.

Hi thanks for all the recent help.

Having been using it on A3 prints it has suddenly decided to print green where it should be red.

I have fitted new set of cartridges.

I have printed a standard evaluation print.

I have run printer maintenance for blocked jets.

I have sent a print to another printer which is a colour laser and works correct colours.

Any suggestions please.

Unit is about 3 years old amd no previous problems owned from new,

I would suggest that you speak to Canon I have this printer and so did my friend he had no end of problems with colour, he spent ages talking to the tech guys at Canon in the end even Canon was unable to resolve the issue and gave him a refund.

Sorry probably not want you want to hear

Colour failure Canon 9000

Thanks for the advice.

After much work, problem identified as an intermitent blocking Magenta colour head.

Solution several rounds of deep cleaning and a new cartridge.

Cause either an airlock through running the cartridge empty or drying.

Problem solved now thanks:
