Minolta Scan Dual II
 

I have had a Minolta Scan Dual II for a few years and not used it for a long time, the last time being with Windows 98.
I have just tried to use it with XP, with the latest driver 1.0.3.0 off the Konica Minolta website.
The scanner will do a prescan, and start a final scan for about 5 seconds then freezes. The only way to get out of the program ( including Photoshop LE5.0 that it runs thro ) is to Ctrl + Alt + Delete it.
Has anyone else had the same problem ? I don't know if the problem is software or hardware related. :confused:

It's softtware related and sounds like Elements 5 can't handle it. If you had software supplied with the scanner then use that and save as a jpeg or tiff image file and import that into Elements. If you can't find the original software then use Windows Paint program, Start, all Programs, Accessories and select Paint. :D
