Uploading an avatar

Hi,

I am not new to the world of forums, helping to run one myself, but this problem seems strange. Each time I try to upload an Avatar picture, I select the image, which has been downsized accordingly and then hit the "submit" button, but all I get is a message saying the passwords do not match. Most confusing.

The page for editing my profile, just does not seem to be complete. almost like it has been corrupted slightly, but it happens all the time.

Any ideas out there?

Hi Foostki,

Any chance you are using Google Chrome?

Thanks,

Amy

Yes I do use Google Chrome, but can use Internet Explorer 8 if needed. Well there we go. Simple. Thank you very much for that. Do you habve any ideas why it does not work with Chrome?

I'm not exactly sure why it doesn't work with Google Chrome, all I know is that some Chrome users are experiencing problems with this kind of thing.

It is on our list of fixes, but there's others to be worked through first, so please bear with us while we try and figure out what's going on with Chrome and thanks for your patience!

Thanks,

Amy

Amy

The site is not showing well in Flock at the moment (Fragmented) not a problem for me as I have several browsers but just thought you would like to know.

Jim.

Thanks Jim,

I must confess, I've never heard of that browser before but I'll add it to the technical team's (long) list!

Thanks,

Amy

It's a version of Firefox that comes with social networking addons preinstalled.

I don't know if your team has anything to do with this but Flock is running sweet as a nut and at quite a blistering speed and considering I have a minimal broadband speed due to locality that is amazing.

Jim.
