Is Canon about to launch an 'EVIL' camera?
 

EVIL (Electronic Viewfinder, Interchangeable Lens) !

This kind of camera would be a competitior to the Olympus pen type or Panasonic Lumix GF1 If they do it would mark the birth of a completely new breed of semi compact digital camera with better performance than the usual compacts.

I haven't seen any rumours. There have been constant rumours about a Nikon one (apparently they've been filing all sorts of patents) but nothing has materialised yet.

Will be interesting to see what both companies come up with.
