Hi, what great smiles!! My only pointer would be based on that point. There is a alot of information which is not so important so you could have cut it all out - zoom in if you can or get closer to the smiley chap. (he's clearly not camera shy so make the most of it)
The first picture is my favourite - it looks like Tigger has just told a Joke and Pooh is still trying to work it out!

Hi, I agree with Nick that you should have got in closer. There's an old saying that when looking through the viewfinder an amateur will always take a step backwards as a professional will take a step forward to get closer. Remember it is better to fill the frame than leave a lot of open space around the main subject. Aim to get the head and just the chest. Everything below the diaphram is a waste (or should that be waist:p)

Thanks for feedback. Top picture was "commissioned" by his mother. Blown up to poster size and used for his 2nd birthday party. Also used the photo as the invite (Using Photobox to create the card)
agree with comment ref stepping forward I will bear that in mind Thank you
Cheers Peter

as good as the photo's are i would only really class the 4th photo as a candid shot the others look set up so to speak and not truly a candid shot
i aggree with the earlier comments about getting in closer and consentrating on the boy rather than the surroundings
the 4th photo is well captured and looks like you've caught the boy off gaurd and is exactly what candid photogtaphy is all about

Thanks for the feedback cosmicma. The third image he was playing hide and seek with his mum and she pull the throw back to "find" him and I was ready for his reaction to being found Cheers P
