CHAT THREAD for the weekend competition 28th & 29th November 2009 - theme" GLASS"

Ian and me put our heads together and came up with a theme that is not weather dependent and that you don`t necessarily need a bit of bottle for (though you could!) - GLASS
Interpret anyway you like with any any processing but there must be glass in the subject matter.Unless you want to live dangerously again maybe not shooting through people`s windows but hey - who are we to set rules!;)

As usual the competition is open to all but all elements of the photo must be taken during the weekend (i.e. Saturday and Sunday in this comp) and posted by 12.00 midday GMT on Monday 30th November 2009. After my traumas Ian is setting the poll this week and it will have a 2 day lifespan, even if he is obliged to post late due to work commitments.

Good luck everyone and get those entries rolling in. Those maybe doing a still life could even enter it into the DC mag "Your Mission" comp if they were happy with it and maybe feature in the magazine. Details here:

This thread for chat only - please post entries into the ENTRY THREAD - but feel free to post any rejects in here for interest/ discussion.

Apologies to those that use Camera Craniums and had this subject a few weeks back. Yes I know - I entered that one and should have remembered but my wife will tell you something about me and a goldfish brain :p
Now where was I - oh yes it gives you the opportunity to try something different or do it better anyway;)

It`s ceratinly seems a good subject for poor puns:) - why not a joke too
A man saw a sign in a clothing store which said "We sell everything!" The guy walked up to the clerk and asked her for some glass pants.

The woman replied, "Sorry sir we don't sell those."

The man argued that the sign stated that the store sold everything.

The woman remarked that glass pants did not even exist.

The man went to his home, and came back to the store wearing a pair of glass pants. The man said triumphantly, "See, I told you that they existed!"

The woman said, "At first I thought you were crazy... but now I see you're nuts!" :o
