Sorry to be thick again but tried looking it ip in FAQ thread and doing a search at top of the page but how do I include a link in my signature to my PR and flickr galleries as others have done?

Hi jinky,

Go to Settings (at the top of the forum) and Edit Signature, where you will see a dialog box much like the one you use to input posts in the forum.

Here you can add a link in the same way as on the forum (i.e. by clicking on the link - small globe with a link at the bottom - icon).

Thanks again Amy - but how do you get it to say simply My PR Gallery or My Flickr - rather than the whole address as I have now

You need to type it in the following format... just replace the ( ) brackets with [ ] ones

(url=http://my web adress)My PR Gallery etc(/url)

[URL="http://whatever your address is"][/URL]

Or you can just type "My PhotoRadar Gallery", highlight it and click the link button. There you can paste in whichever link you'd like to use.

Like so: [URL="http://www.photoradar.com/photos/104/amy-davies"]My PhotoRadar Gallery[/URL]

Let me know if that doesn't make sense.

Thanks both for the quick responses - did it Chris` way - even down to the etc initally:) and it seems fine.

Why doesn't my signature show in my posts? I have written it correctly as you can see after copy and pasting it in below.

At the bottom of this page is a drop down menu. On that select "User Control Panel" (should be at the top of the list). On the next page use the "Edit Options" link and somewhere about halfway down the page (in the "Thread Display Options" section) should be a tick box for Show Signatures. Tick that.

Thanks Chris, I had already ticked that box and also the box in the reply to thread form. For some reason it isn't working.
