CHAT thread for the weekend competition - 14-15 Nov - BLACK AND WHITE

NOTE: This is for 14-15 NOVEMBER! Sorry for any confusion

CHAT THREAD

Hi all. The theme for this weekend's competition will be BLACK AND WHITE. Feel free to apply either the obvious definition (ie. monochrome) or your own interpretation of the theme. Feel free to use any amount of post-processing (including composites) but all elements of the photo must be taken this weekend.

If you are uncomfortable with post-processing you can choose a primarily black and white composition (like a chessboard).

Have a look at this thread for basic rules http://www.photoradar.com/forums/showthread.php?t=992.

Please place your entries in the ENTRIES THREAD.

Happy snapping!

Very wide topic Ogga - I hope it attracts a substantial number of entries.

Um, shouldn't the date read 14th -15th November?

Very nice theme, might get something better than my poor attempt last week :)

Oh dear - perhaps a mod could step in and fix the title? I don't seem to be able to do it from here.

I guess "primarily" means that if a bit of colour creeps in, it's OK? Like eyes or something ... I seem to have a house full of black and white animals but their eyes and noses are coloured ;)

Yes Carol, interpret it how you like.

Sounds good, reminds me of a kiddies joke, whats Black & White and Red all over. Nice topic Ogga.

I've just reminded myself, as I muck about with a pre contest mono conversion, why it is always essential to do mono in 16 bit . . .

Please tell me - why H?
