November commended images
 

I was very lucky to have an image chosen for editors choice - the blurb suggests that commended images will be announced in November...my question then is threefold (1) if you dont hear in November does that mean you are in with a chance of winning your category or does it mean (2) you are not progressing any further? (3) has anyone heard yet whether they have been commended or not? Thanks!!

I don't know how this all works but I would imagine that the commended images would be announced in the news section of this site, just like the editor's choice was.

I went and had a look at the commended images and then back to the Editors shortlist where I had been shortlisted in the fashion section. However, it seems my photograph has vanished from the list. Any ideas??

Nope...mine has not been commended but IS still in the original shortlist - I guess the remaining question is this - if you have not been commended are you still 'in' and so in with a chance of a prize or 'out' altogether!? Any views - what happened last year!

If you're not in the commended section but are in the shortlist, that does indeed mean you are still in the running for the main prize.

Thanks for clearing that up Amy - Ill keep my fingers crossed then, although Im more than chuffed just to get this far!

Does anyone know if the 1st 2nd and 3rd in each category have been notified yet?
