Tools in elements
 

Hi,

Just started using elements and I can't get the tools to work when in the editing mode. I am probably missing something obvious, but have been trying forthe last couple of hours :confused:

which version of elements do you have.
are you saying that if you select the crop tool you cannot drag the marquee across the image?

Sory for the delay I have just a family criss, I'm using elements 6 and I've come across the problem a couple of times, the full edit options are available but the cursor remains as the "hand" used for moving objects and will not let me select any tools

I sometimes have the same problem with Elements 6. I just save any work, close Elements and then restart, it is then ok for the rest of the session.
