Bowens Prolite!
 

Just getting back into doing portraits, and want to use my Bowens Prolite studio flash with my Nikon Camera!
Can anyone let me know if this studio flash is combatible with the various flash triggers available, as would like to use this equipment if possible again!

Would also like to know of any reasonable low cost triggers , or if Bowens Prolite cannot be used, what sort of portable studio lights are around at reasonable cost!

Probably depends on the model of prolite, but if there's a sync socket 'various' triggers should work. If there's a slave cell built into them, that should work with the Nikon's inbuilt speedlight on manual and turned right down if you don't want it to influence the light. Assuming there's an inbuilt speedlight, of course, and that you have that kind of control over it.

Thanks Chris, the prolite does have a flash cell, so hopefully will work fine as you say!

I am just getting back into photography, especially digital, so feel am a newbie, but with my old professional background, and have a Nikon D90 to start!
