There is a size limit - 2mb I think. So if you come in under this you should be ok.

That's really strange.
But it may explain why most of the time I can post images larger than 1mb, but sometimes I can't.

Yep I've always found that I have to keep them under 1MB to make sure they load .

It does seem a bit hit and miss at times!
I've put a couple of photos on tonight, one was 1.6MB. Went on fine, but other times they won't.

To be quite honest as the images are limited to 900px across the top edge a larger file size wouldn't make much of a difference .

That would explain it. My PC skills are not great so this doesnt come easy sometimes.
Cheers Mark.

I had the same problem at first but reading the instructions on loading the maximum size of files I finally understood that I can upload up to 2mb but the pixel size matter most. In photoshop for example when you re size, do not use % but rather pixel size and then reduce the smaller number to 900 pixels, the picture will reduce itself accordingly and you should be able to upload ( being under 2Mb ).
