Thanks Jos. They are all seperate photos; I just threw them together to show one of the competitors on the weekend competition, my interpretation of abstracts. The top left photo has been on the previous PhotoRadar site, but was, of course, wiped. They are all in my Flickr account though.

I know there are many interpretations of 'abstract' as far as photography is concerned, my interpretation is based on an article I read years and years ago. I also rather like the 'minimalist' abstract, but have never tried it.

Top left is actually a glass of tap water, nicely presented in a hotel bar.

Which ones are in your opinion 'more abstract' than the others, and which ones should not be called abstract at all?
