Description: Still on still lifes, still on textures and flowers. The flowers from my previous experiments, have finally wilted enough to give me the shot I wanted.
This is my interpretation of an old master.

You've found your niche here with still life. I really like the wilting flowers and the darker tones that accompany them.

Thanks Karen. I prefer the wilting flowers too; had to wait a long time though, for them to 'drop their heads'! Once I've got an idea, I have to get on with it, I have no patience!

I like 'still life type' shots, as I can arrange them, and I don't have to cope with moving things, which is always a problem, because of my eyesight.

I haven't finished exploring other photo opportunites yet though, and always doing (indoor) still lifes might get rather boring after a while. But at the moment, my mind is buzzing with more flower shot ideas again, so there will probably e more in the future.

This whole series was triggered off by that 49 pence glass heart vase, that I found in a charity shop recently.

At least 'hunting for props' would take me out regularly!

You're photopainting now? Looks great... only the light lines around flowers/leaves a bit softer

Don't know if it's called photopainting; I call it playing around with software! It's one of those things I get addicted to at times. Glad you like it!

I'm not quite sure what you mean with the lightlines around the flowers. Can you explain? (Eventueel in het Nederlands.)

And thank you for your comment.
