Great shots, I've never had the opportunity to capture any storms in the UK but maybe one day ! What was your technique for catching the strikes if you don't mind my asking ?

Trial and error and patience. Set up on a tripod with camera facing the direction where I think the next strike might be and holding open the shutter for up to 20 sec on a remote. Out of about 200 shots I manage 12 decent images. Scary at times as I was on a metal stair fire escape in an electrical storm of Biblical proportions.
