Lightroom 5 vs Photoshop CC: So which software is the best?

How to get more from the Adobe Lightroom Tools panel: step 6

Lightroom has a superb organiser and it has the vast majority of image editing tools you are likely to need.

But if you want to use layers and masks, create composite images or make selections then Photoshop takes some beating.

Many pro photographers use both packages to combine Lightroom’s organisation with Photoshop’s editing might.

    Verdict
Split decision, with a slight edge for Lightroom. With Adobe Lightroom 5 you’ll be able to do most of everything you want to do, most of the time.
