    Lightroom 5 vs Photoshop CC: Does it help with image sharing or printing?

    Lightroom
    Lightroom is designed to take you through the process of selecting and editing your best images then sharing them.

    Consequently, it has specific modules to help with creating slideshows, books (with printing by Blurb) and web galleries of images, as well as designing print layouts. You can use existing templates or create your own.

     

    Photoshop
    Although you can print directly from Photoshop (and make Web galleries Bridge) it doesn’t offer any assistance with creating books or slideshows.

    Adobe would argue that this is because Photoshop is part of a suite of professional-level software with packages allowing bespoke creations that use images after they have been edited in Photoshop.

    Verdict: Lightroom 5 wins
