    Nikon D800 Review: front

The pricing for the Sony AR7 is £1699 for the body only (there’s no kit lens option), whereas the Sony A7 costs £1299 (body only) or £1549 with 28-70mm f/3.5-5.6 lens.

The Nikon D800 street price is currently around £1975, while the Nikon D800E can be picked up for approximately £2349.

Financially, the Sony A7R makes the most sense although you are, literally, getting a lot more camera for your money in the shape of the Nikon D800E.
