The reason many of us are put off from starting a photography project is the commitment involved.

But here’s a nice idea that doesn’t involve having to be in a certain place at a certain time. In fact, quite the opposite.

The idea is to shoot your feet at a certain time of day. Hunt out locations that offer interesting textures or road markings.

As well as pavements, head to the local park for grass, sand and earthy backdrops.

Don’t forget to continue this project while on your holiday or travelling, too.

Get started today…
* Use a wide-angle zoom to give you a variety of framing options.
* Place your feet in the same position within the frame for consistency. Use Live View’s grid display to assist here.
* Consider the lighting conditions. Do you want to include your shadow on sunny days? If not, angle yourself so that it falls out of the frame.
