Best Rolling Camera Bag for Photographers: 06 Manfrotto Pro VII Roller

Best Rolling Camera Bag for Photographers: 06 Manfrotto Pro VII Roller

    Price:  £400, $550
    Buy it:  www.manfrotto.co.uk
With external measurements of 37x24x54cm, this bag pushes the boundaries of even the larger carry-on size limits and may need a gentle squeeze to fit into a size-check frame at an airport. It’s also almost as heavy as the Tamrac bag, at 5.1kg.

As you’d expect from a Manfrotto bag, there are external tripod attachments. Inside, there’s a main camera compartment with plentiful dividers plus additional pull-out flaps to further protect your gear.

There’s also a padded sleeve for laptops with up to 17-inch screens, and additional zip-up pockets for accessories. Extra-strong grab handles are fitted to the top and both sides of the bag.

The main zip is weather-proofed and the bag also comes with a slip-over rain cover.

    Verdict
Pros… Good weather-proofing, large laptop sleeve, strong build.
Cons… May be too big and heavy for some carry-on restrictions.
WE say… It’s a big, strong and heavy bag, but on the pricy side.

    Score: 4/5
