Best portable backdrop for photography: 5 top options for still life photographers
Best Portable Backdrop for Photography: 03 Interfit LED Studio Table
If you’re after a complete portable backdrop and lighting solution for photographing small products, this LED Studio Table from Interfit is well worth considering.
The setup is compact enough to place on a dining table or similar, and is ideal for photographing jewellery and other small items. It’s not suitable for larger objects though, so the size could be limiting.
Where this product comes into its own is the inclusion of an adjustable LED light, which comprises 200 independent bulbs.
The light clamps onto the frame, and the flexible arm enables you to position it as required. The strength of the light can be adjusted using a dial on the side.
Overall, this product was very simple to use. Product photography is made simple by mounting your camera on a tripod and placing a reflector on the opposite side to the light to fill in the shadows.
The small collapsible frame and the other parts can be quickly disassembled when the table’s not in use, and it’s good value for money.
Pros: Easy to assemble and use; plenty of flexibility for lighting objects, good value
Cons: You’re limited to photographing relatively small items, such as jewellery
