    05 Create a copy
    In the Layers palette, click on the Background layer’s thumbnail. Press Cmd/Ctrl+J to create a copy of this layer. You can sharpen this copy and then compare it to the original unedited image. It’s also handy to have access to the original image in case you over-sharpen the shot.

    06 Try Auto Sharpen
    If you’re in a rush, go to Enhance>Auto Sharpen. This gently increases the contrast around the edges to give more impact. However, Auto Sharpen doesn’t really help our shot because it’s too soft – it’s more suited to giving sharper shots impact before you print them. Go to Edit>Undo Adjust Sharpness.
