    03 Quick sharpen
    Click on the thumbnails to increase the amount in the sharpening slider. A value of 312 gives you a pretty good compromise between revealing important detail and keeping unwanted image noise to a minimum. You can use the Before & After – Horizontal view to compare the edited shot with the softer original as you work.

    04 Expert mode
    Click on the Sharpen icon again to apply the desired setting to the image. The Quick Editor’s Sharpen tool gives you little control over the way that Elements sharpens up your shot, adding more noise than is really necessary. Choose Edit>Undo Sharpen and then click on the Expert tab to access some more effective sharpening tools.
