Best memory cards for cameras: Kingston UltimateXX 233X UHS-1 SDHC, 16GB

Best memory cards for cameras: Kingston UltimateXX 233X UHS-1 SDHC, 16GB

    Street price £37

It’s not cheap for a 16GB UHS-1 card, but the Kingston writes data at a fairly nippy 14.5MB/s on a Canon EOS 60D.

However, it’s no faster on a 650D, failing to give a speed boost on that camera’s UHS-1 bus.

There are 8GB, 16GB and 32GB options, all covered by a lifetime warranty.

Pros… Respectable performance; not massively expensive
Cons… Doesn’t make the most of the 650D’s UHS-1 potential

    Score: 75%
