“It was a pleasure spending the day with Clive. He totally understood and respected our beliefs about what boudoir should be. He was wonderful with Rachel, which is vital. You can see how comfortable she is interacting with him in this image.
It’s a very strong, sensual picture with no overtones of glamour – exactly what a woman wants from a boudoir shoot. Clive did a brilliant job exposing for the highlights and working with the natural light. I know that Clive would like to spend more time on his photography long-term and I believe that he could shoot boudoir with success and style.”

    Clive says
“This was one of the first shots we took during the morning of the shoot. Kate taught me lots about how to get someone looking good when lying on a bed. You need to ensure their face is closest to you, and their legs furthest away. You need to ensure the body creates an S-shape through the frame. I learned you can make legs look thinner by literally pulling any bulges so they are hidden out of shot! What I love about the picture is the essential simplicity. It is hard to believe, just looking at it, that we didn’t need additional lights, despite the dreary day outside.”
