Best wedding shots: the first look

Best wedding shots: the first look

The moment the father of the bride sees his daughter for the first time can be a very emotional moment and does not need to be posed.

It should be captured in a documentary style; you just need to be ready to capture that one special moment that cannot be recreated.

I would suggest getting the bride ready in a room with enough room to give enough personal space and the dad to walk into the room.
I was positioned behind the bride ready to get dad’s reaction however for this particular image the winning shot was when they embraced and the little bridesmaid walked into the room.

Every scenario will be different but the key is to keep taking photographs and to observe this special scene.
