Maternity Photography Ideas: 17 tips for pregnancy photos she’ll cherish forever
14. Include the partner!
Often women want their partner to be included in their maternity photography because their pregnancy photos then convey more of an emotional connection between the two parents rather than just focusing on the woman’s body.
I encouraged this father to be a part of this shoot by using his arms as a main focal point and a prop.
I did not include him in the first shot (see right image) but then encouraged him to swap sides so I could see his face in the next shot and capture his reaction to his blooming partner.
His arms are cleverly positioned to cover her hips whilst still showing off her bump to its full potential.
