Exploring the venues
For church ceremonies, find out the time at which Sunday morning services finish (the building may be locked during the week) and pop along to have a quick look at the layout.
For reception venues, or if this is the same venue as for a civil service, phone and explain that you’re the official photographer for a forthcoming wedding and ask to go and have a look around for the best locations for photography.
