Digital Camera magazine issue 124 is now on sale
The latest issue of Digital Camera is on sale today! It’s an incredible Easter package, with three free gifts. First up is our new-look disc, which now includes camera-techique video lessons in addition to the popular Photoshop tutorials. The disc will show you how to set up your camera from the box, adjust aperture and change shutter speed. Another highlight of this month’s disc is a fully working version of CyberLink PhotoDirector 2011. This superb photo-editing program was originally sold for £79.99 but we’re delighted to offer it you for free. The third gift is a handy fold-out guide to your rights as a photographer. Discover what you can and can’t shoot with this reference guide, what to do if you got stopped by police or security guards and much more.
Inside the magazine, our main feature will help you master your camera in a day. Technique editor Chris Rutter reveals all the skills and gear you’ll need to master exposure, get to grips with depth of field and shutter speed, and edit your photos so they look amazing.
Gear-wise, we compare the latest SLRs with the latest compact system cameras and check out the new Canon EOS 5D Mark III – the long awaited upgrade to the EOS 5D Mark II. We also review the Canon G1 X, a fully loaded compact camera with powerful features.
Meanwhile pro inspiration is provided by Suzi Eszterhas, a top wildlife photographer, and Guy Martin, a brave photojournalist who survived the carnage in Libya.
We’ve also got a fabulous new subscription offer. Subscribe now and you’ll receive a Westcott reflector kit worth £40, and gain access to exclusive content.
